Designer turns your live workspace data into polished, print-ready documents in a few clicks. Open Designer in the Space section of the sidebar, pick a design, pick a size, and print. Every document is themed by your branding automatically, so materials around your space always match your website and your brand.
Designer is deliberately not a design tool. The layouts are fixed and professionally composed. Your choices are what the document says and what size it prints at, which keeps every piece consistent and means anyone on staff can produce them.
The designs
- Space Placard. The classic door sign: your logo in the top left, the suite or space name in the top right, and a large main line below. Built for acrylic sign inserts and full sheets.
- Notice. The same layout, fully custom. A title (it says Notice by default, but you can change it) and body text that scales itself to fit: a three-word outage note prints huge, a long policy update shrinks to comfortable reading size. Alignment options let you choose left or center and top or middle.
Picking what it says
Placards pull from the space you pick. The Main text dropdown prefills the big line from your data: the occupant's name, their company, both in either order, the asset name, or an availability line. The Availability option writes Available (in green) with the space's real rate on a second line, for example $800/mo. The Corner label works the same way, defaulting to the asset name.
Every prefilled value stays editable. The dropdowns fill the fields; the fields are yours to override before printing. Nothing you type changes the underlying member or asset data.
Sizes and exact-size printing
Each design comes in four sizes: 7 x 5 and 5 x 7 inches for acrylic sign inserts, and full letter sheets in both orientations. Smaller formats print centered on a letter page with a subtle dotted cut guide around the document.
To get an exact physical size, print the PDF at 100% scale (not fit to page), then trim along the dotted line. The cut-out piece will measure exactly the chosen dimensions.
Branding
Fonts, accent color, background tone, and corner style come from Settings, then Branding, then Design Style. These are the same settings that style your public website, so changing your brand once updates both your site and every future printed document.
Each document also has a Logo section showing your branding logo with a Swap option. Swapping applies only to that one document; your Branding settings are untouched.
Save as PDF or print directly
Save as PDF downloads a true-size PDF with your brand font embedded, ready for any printer.
If Deskie Print is set up with online printers, a Print button appears next to Save as PDF. It generates the PDF and takes you to the Printing page with the file already staged, where you choose the printer, black and white or color, and the number of copies.
Who can use it
Designer requires workspace management permission, so owners and admins see it in the sidebar. Members do not have access.
